We are a family of three people, including my husband, at the age of 12 months, and I. I am looking for a small unit that composting is easy to maintain and can be kept in the kitchen. My plan for the compost is returned to the forest to reduce the use of waste and Going Green. Looked at the Bokashi system and Wormery Junior. I have two cats and I am also concerned with the worms. What would be the easiest way to remove a minimum of compost to the outside world and the best out of the kitchen? Any other suggestions would be helpful. We are a single income family, so I'm looking for does not spend much money. Thank you.

The easiest way is to collect leftover food in a small bowl in the kitchen, then empy container in a good compost pile in the yard. What you have in the kitchen is a holding station until you feel like on the actual compost.
The container itself is not important. We are a plastic bucket with lid. I'm sure you can find something for under $ 20. We maintain our composting bin in the freezer. If you have freezer space, are perfect, and not begin to decompose food scraps until they go home. It makes a difference in the world, the scent of sage.
As for what you do with your back, it depends on what the composting. If only the composting of kitchen waste, then you want to use a bucket of worms.
